Daniel Lutsker’s work has
appeared in The Daily News, Cracked, Jump Magazine, and The Olivetree Review. He
owns the blog “Dan Green’s Guide to the Universe” and regularly posts comedy sketches,
interviews, and documentaries to his Youtube channel, Empire Stories. Express Publishing,
a United Kingdom-based publishing and teaching company, uses his video “Mount
Tambora: The Year Without a Summer” as part of their English as a Second
Language curriculum. He is a fourth-year media major with a concentration in
journalism at Hunter College. He works as an English Teacher’s Assistant at
Little Genius Prep, a tutoring company in Brooklyn. Through high school, he
wrote and photographed for the Newground Day Camp newsletter. He was born in Ukraine, and now lives in Brooklyn. He is working on a documentary
about the cost of living in New York City. His work strives to make the normal
seem extraordinary. He is most interested in local stories, travel journalism,
and photojournalism. He brings his Canon Rebel T3i almost everywhere. His
